Aveda will host a 24 hour global cut-a-thon on Monday 22nd April.
James Dun’s House stylists will be helping Aveda achieve a Guinness World Record, for most funds raised from hair cutting in a 24 hour period. Our team along with Aveda stylists from all around the world, will be cutting hair and donating all the proceeds to Aveda’s Earth Month.
Aveda’s Earth Month, the company’s annual, month long effort raised more than £3 million last year, for clean water organisations that work to preserve and protect clean water for those who are not lucky enough to have access to clean, safe water.
So if you would like to be part of our cut-a-thon, and help Aveda get into the Guinness World of Records then we are taking booking for Monday 22nd April from 10-12, with all proceeds going to Earth Month.
The hair cutting marathon kicks off in Sydney, heads to Tokyo and then continues across Asia before winding its way around the rest of the world touching down in Zurich, Berlin, Madrid, London and James Dun’s House Aberdeen & Glasgow. The cut-a-thon will conclude in North America.
You can also help support Earth Month by buying a Limited Edition Light The Way Candle for only £16. A sweet vanilla and spicy cinammon aroma, both organic and grown in Madagascar. One candle purchase can provide a year’s supply of drinking water for a person living in Madagascar.
We will also be hosting some in-salon events to help raise money, such as a fantastic raffle and home bake sale with yummy cakes made by our very own staff!
