Platinum Blonde Hair Colour

Blonde-Hair-Bob-Hair-Coloue-WEHair colours can change and redefine your look, and if there’s a colour that truly makes a statement, it’s a bold platinum white blonde.

Platinum blonde is not for the faint hearted, it is the hardest colour to maintain and a strong statement-making shade, you need bags of attitude to pull it off – a’la Gwen Stefani with her soft hair-up or Emeli Sande’s platinum edgy quiff. While Gwyneth Paltrow demonstrates a sophisticated platinum blonde look.

Not sure if your hair can handle going platinum blonde, then why not pop in for a consultation with one of our expert stylists, and they can advise you.

Honey Blonde Hair Colour

Ladies-Blonde-Hairstyle-PMNot ready to commit to a brilliant, bright blonde hue? Then why not opt for a softer, honey hue. The Honey blonde look is a Hollywood classic. Golden, honey blonde is chicer than peroxide and cooler than brunette. Honey blonde hair says “I’m laid back and low maintenance.” Everyone from supermodel Gisele (the ultimate perfectly sun-kissed honey-blonde bombshell) to Sienna Miller have chosen this shade to lend an edge to their look.

Honey blonde works well with mousy and light brown hair, adding a couple of different tones to create definition and more textured look. Keep your style as low key as your colour with simple, tousled waves like Sarah Jessica Parker’s, who’s curls  look great with her biscuit and caramel highlights.

Strawberry Blonde Hair Colour

Red-Hair-Colour-Centre-Parting-Ladies-WEStrawberry blonde is a striking, beautiful shade – golden with a hint of red. These warm wear-able shades look fantastic on paler skin tones. Skin tone is one of the most important factors to consider when going strawberry blonde. Nicole Kidman’s skin is the fairest of the fair, and her strawberry blonde shade has just enough red to work with the pink undertones in her skin. This barely red hue looks prettiest on women with naturally medium to dark blonde hair.

Blake Lively changes up her typically blonde hair with this fabulous strawberry blonde shade and Cate Blanchett looks stunning in red and gold highlights.

Picking the right blonde hair colour for you

Blonde hair is beautiful, but 1 shade definitely doesn’t fit all.  Our colour expert Gill Owen helps you choose the perfect blonde for you.

Brassy blonde color or highlights on someone with a warm skin tone can be harsh. Opt for warmer shades instead.

If you have brown hair and want to go blonde, you don’t want to go too light or you could look washed out, you are best to go for a honey blonde and opt for contrast: highlights and lowlights. And keep in mind that darker hair will actually complement brown or green eyes better than blonde hair.

If you want to platinum, keep in mind that you’ll look best in this hair color if you’re a “cool skin tone”, meaning you’re more pink than olive.

Still unsure? Then book a complimentary colour consultation with one of our stylists, who will help you choose the right blonde colour for you.

  1. I have white hair streaked with grey but have been using a colouring mousse for some years. I ajm interested in a gentle colour (honey blond) so would any of your products cover my original colour. I have a very delicate scalp and am worried about irritation by strong chemicals. I would attend for a colour consultation.
