The start of a new season is the perfect time to update your hair style. Whether you’re looking for a total transformation or just a little layering.
We break down four fresh looks for you to try in 2016, with expert tips from stylist Amy.
Instantly update your look with a piecey, brow skimming fringe. Looks great with loose waves or straight hair. “If my guests get their hair cut every 8 weeks, I have them come in on the 4th week for a fringe trim.” Stylist Amy says about maintaining the best fringe length.
COLLARBONE LENGTH BOB
If you go back & forth between wanting to keep your hair long or chop it all off, a Long length Bob or LOB is the perfect solution. “For a more current look ditch the layers and opt for an angled, collarbone length. It will give your face a flattering frame.” Amy advises. To finish the look off, style with poker straight hair like Emilia Clarke. The lob looks just as good when worn tousled with waves.
There’s something really cool about having the back short with longer pieces around the front, creating a more face framing wave. Lily Collin’s cut is the epitome of cool and makes us want to go for the chop. “Wear this short style with lots of volume and hair flipped to one side.” Amy says about this cute crop.
Long, smooth healthy hair is always in season. Amy suggests “If you’re the kind of girl who thinks a 2 inch trim is a big change, just tidy up the ends and cut thick, round layers This will add movement and a soft wave to your hair.” We have major hair envy over Selena Gomez’s gorgeous long locks.
