What are hair Highlights?
The hair is sectioned throughout, then subtle strands are picked up and lightened in foils to add depth and multidimensional tones to the colour.
Hair can either be highlighted as a full-head or half-head.
Highlights can also be added to an all-over colour if there is a lot of grey coverage needed or a complete colour change.
The result can be as natural or as dramatic as you want, depending on the thickness and number of highlights you choose to create. Our colour experts will create the perfect highlighted look for you, taking into consideration your face shape, skin tone and eye colour for the best foil placement.
Are highlights right for you?
This hair colour technique is suitable for both lighter and dark hair shades, and all hairstyles and lengths, except for very short cropped hairstyles.
It is ideal for lightening your colour whilst being lower maintenance than an all-over colour.

Colour allergy test
To ensure we can safely apply colour to your hair, we check whether you’re allergic to any of the ingredients used in our colour formula.
So, if you’ve not had your hair coloured at our salons in the last 6 months, please pop in for a skin test at least 48 hours before your colour appointment. We understand this may be inconvenient, but for us, your safety and wellbeing come first. You can pop in anytime for the free test which only takes a minute, and you don’t need an appointment. We won’t be able to colour your hair unless we have tested you.
